 What is S-SEPAC ?

Stoughton Special Education Parent Advisory Council

SEPAC  is a parent organization dedicated  to the families of Stoughton whose children receive Special Education.

As a state-mandated, system-wide volunteer organization, we act in an advisory role to the Stoughton School Committee. We serve as a resource  and support to the parents of children with special needs from preschool through high school, serving all Stoughton schools.

We meet monthly and  provide presentations about special education, learning disabilities, and state and federal laws.  We welcome the opportunity to network with you as we share resources and most importantly learn together ways to foster partnerships that will support all our children

Stoughton SEPAC provides education to parents and the broader community on Special Education issues and services.  We work towards the understanding of, respect, support, and appropriate education for all children with special needs in our community .

Parent involvement is essential for school success. In No Child Left Behind parents are encouraged to serve as full partners in their child’s education.
So please join us.

Look for more information in the coming months on the school website and at http://www.stoughtonsepac.org/  and on facebook.
